Thomas L. Credelle, Founder and CEO Tom is an experienced executive who has held senior management positions in both large companies and small. After receiving his MSEE from MIT, he joined RCA Labs to research electro optics, holography, and flat panel technology; he has been part of the display industry ever since. His management experience includes R&D, Engineering, Product Development, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations; most recently he held VP roles at three startups: Puredepth, Clairvoyante, and Alien Technology. Prior, he held engineering and marketing positions at Apple, Motorola, and Allied Signal. He is a world-recognized expert in flat panels, holds 45 US patents, and is a Fellow of the Society for Information Display.
Pierre St. Hilaire, PhD, Founder and CTO Pierre, an entrepreneur since his college days, has been involved with lasers and holography his whole career. While at MIT Media Lab he developed the world’s first color holographic video display. After receiving his PhD, he joined Interval Research and continued his research in novel optical systems. At Templex, he invented a technique for writing fiber Bragg gratings which was the impetus for Intel’s acquisition of Templex. Over the past few years, he has worked independently to develop the core IP for Holox. Pierre. holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Media Technology from the MIT, a M.Sc. in Physics from McGill University and a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences, has published over 30 scientific papers and a book chapter, and holds 8 patents.
Bernard Kress, PhD, Founder and VP Research Bernard, an entrepreneur since receiving his PhD, has been involved with digital diffractive optics his whole career. He is a world-renowned expert in the field, having written over 50 papers and authored four books, the latest "Applied Digital Optics" published in 2009 by John Wiley and Sons. He has worked at several startups in Silicon Valley, including Tsunami Optics, Digilens, SBG Labs and US Photonics. He also holds 26 patents in the field of digital optics and applications. Bernard holds a PhD from University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg and UC San Diego.
Michael Bustamante, Founder and VP Application Engineering Michael is an experienced engineer who has held senior engineering positions in both large companies and small. He received his BSEE from San Jose State University. He joined New Focus Inc as a electro optics test engineer, concentrating on tunable laser test development; he then joined Templex Technology as Automation Engineer. Intel acquired Templex where he then held positions first in R&D as a Optical Engineer then manufacturing as a Equipment Engineer and finally in Sales as a Senior Field Application Engineer first as Optical Specialist then after Intel sold off their optics division he moved on as generalist representing all the Intel CPU divisions into Cisco. The last 4 years before leaving Intel he worked closely with Cisco winning major architecture conversions to Intel Architecture.
Frank Sinton, Jr, Founder and Chairman Frank is a successful veteran entrepreneur, having founded, managed and grown numerous technology start-ups, including MediLife Think Technologies, and Rapport. He has been responsible for capturing market share, building leading national brands, raising capital funding, developing and marketing award-winning software and Internet services, establishing strategic partnerships and business development, and managing all aspects of a company's growth. Frank also understands large corporations with 15 successful years at two Fortune 100 companies. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Chemical Engineering degree from Tufts.
